So tonight is the night, Chris Eubank Jr finally will get his highly anticipated world title shot against Renold Quinlan.

Kid Galahad is set to fight Joseph Agbeko. This fight will be a world title eliminator for the IBF featherweight championship. Agbeko is not a very well known fighter but has won world titles before. At 31-5 which 23 knockouts he won’t be a walk in the park for Galahad. Kid Galahad is an up and coming boxer at 21-0 with 12 KO’s he is a force to reckoned with. Many have said that he could be a future world champion in the making. That world title shot could be very soon, it could be a soon as his next fight which should be a shot for a world belt.

David Price is set to face Christian Hammer. Price is a fighter who has been talked about a lot but whether he is as good as some are saying is yet to be discovered. Nobody wo is at the top level has fought him yet so he hasn’t faced a real tough opponent to date. Price is 21-3 so he has lost 3 times, and these losses weren’t even to world title holders they were to people who aren’t close to a world title shot. Christian Hammer is a 20-4 but he has fought a top level opponent. Tyson Fury. Hammer faced Fury back at the start of 2015, Hammer was defeated but I’m sure he learn from that fight. Hammer has not been involved in any other world title fights since, so hopefully after this fight against Price who is fairly well known he may gain publicity and a possible world title shot.

Now the main event…

Chris Eubank Jr vs Renold Quinlan for the IBO world super middleweight title. Eubank Jr is a very powerful and high level fighter who deserves a world title shot. Eubank Jr is 23-1, with his only loss being to Billy Joe Saunders who is a current world champion. Renold Quinlan won his IBO strap against Daniel Geale in October of 2016. Quinlan is a good fighter but even when compared to the new Eubank Jr of the boxing world he is very inexperienced. Quinlan is a good fighter but he has fought less than half of the times Eubank has. Eubank has looked dangerous in training showing off his unreal speed and power in. This fight has come under fire because of it being on pay per view on ITVs new box office channel. I personally think it isn’t great charging for this fight but as it is a cheaper price than normal pay per view on Sky, I think it is worth it. Combined with David Price and Kid Galahad this card will come together to form a very action packed night of boxing.
